Surgeon Feedback coming
I’ve made an appt for August 1st to see Dr. Byrne
at Rush, the neurosurgeon who did the awake craniotomy last September. He knows my tumor well enough to recognize
whether anything in the most recent scan concerns him. Is the remaining mass tumor or radiation scarring? My neuro-oncologist, Dr. Paleologos, has
recently left Northshore University Healthsystem. I am hoping Dr. Byrne may have some alternate
suggestions.
Meanwhile, I checked off another item on my bucket list a
few weeks back when I rented a convertible for several days while visiting
Connecticut. I could be a standin for Indy drivers any day.
