He suggested I consider starting
back on chemotherapy. He mentioned Temodar, but commented that other chemo
options exist. We agreed I should see a
neuro oncologist soon for a second opinion on treatment and next steps. I am not inclined to go through chemotherapy
again. I am planning some time away in
Florida this winter and to England with my sister next May. I don’t plan that tumors or treatment will
change my priorities.

I met with Dr. Weyburn yesterday
to review the results of my Tuesday MRI.
The reoccurring tumor has again grown in size and an additional mass,
apparently a new glioma, has developed near the corpus callosum. (Google it.) Neither of these tumors is directly adjacent to
the cavity from the surgery two years ago.
Dr. Weyburn said that he did not think additional radiation would be
possible, and, given the placement of the tumors, thought additional surgery at
this point would also be unlikely.
Thanks for your
interest. Love you.
