After the two months the neuro-oncologist wanted to wait, I went in today for an early morning MRI at Kellogg Cancer Center in Evanston. This photo best shows the angle on the brain which showcases the area that has been in question. Is the white stuff tumor OR is it radiation scarring? Well, the Dr. does not know which it is, but because it hasn’t grown in the two months without medication, she sees this as good news. She is also pleased that some of the peripheral flair image along the edge of the empty tumor cavity is reduced this time. Another reason to celebrate.
So celebrating I will be. Check in with me again at the end of May and you’ll see what the next scan shows. Meanwhile, I’ll be in Sanibel, Florida then back to Illinois then maybe back to Fort Myers Beach. In June, the Colorado Rockies are calling and in July it will be New England.
Starting about March 12, check the In Stitches tab on this site when I can show you a great old/new project now complete. Thanks so much for your caring and concern.
