Really looking forward to Christmas

I know this Christmas tree is not very medical, but it's a good indication that my post-radiation priorities have shifted.  And Amen to that.  My tree is up and decorated, for the 1st time in nearly 3 yrs.  My gifts are wrapped and will be shipped in the morning.  My Christmas letter went out in early September (brilliant.)  I know the menu I'm serving on Christmas and most of the food is already in hand.  i have Skype and Face Time calls arranged simultaneously with all immediate relatives to see them open my gifts at once.  A good laugh is coming.

My MRI is scheduled for January 4th and then an appointment with Dr. Paleologos, my neuro-oncologist where I will see the test results and talk about what's next.  I see her prescribing an extended winter trip to a southern location.  Can I deduct that as a medical expense?

Love to you all!!
