Cancer makes good friends

I’ve always felt I had great friends, but this phase of brain tumor treatment has reminded me.  Last night a new neighbor, Jeanine, stopped by with her two children to bring me a wonderful loaf of pumpkin bread, really just out of the oven.  It smelled fantastic – and tasted even better when I had some this morning with a little of the honey brought be my friend Chris, who has a small honeybee operation on their property.  Right after surgery, Marie brought some incredible eggplant parmesan and Hazel some homemade chicken soup. 

Thanks to all of you for your generosity and neighborliness.  I am so grateful.
