I know it’s a lot of pills, but I’m still stunned that my chemotherapy pills – which fit in just three cubes of my pill container – really cost over $11,000. We all seriously need to be in either the insurance or prescription drug business.
I tried calling the radiation therapist yesterday to mention that I did have my chemo pills, just in case they wanted to start now, but I guess Monday afternoon is still my scheduled time. I did confirm that even my weekly blood work will be done by an in-network provider. It’s not so much that I can’t wait to start, but I keep thinking my tumor is up there getting bigger every minute we wait. I know, psycho.
Seriously!!! We need to be informed why those pills would cost so much!! On the other hand; let's just thank God that you have them. I totally understand your desire to get a move on!!!
