Thanks to John’s readiness to have me in the shop without much hair or energy, I returned to Twisted Stem and worked a few hours Friday and Saturday. I didn’t do anything useful, but it was nice to see people again. Barb and I had priced some holiday items at home last week, but nothing replaces personal contact.
I am scheduled to go back to the Evanston neuro-oncologist this Thursday for a post-surgery MRI and discussion of radiation coming with possible chemotherapy simultaneously. The following week I see the radiation oncologist and probably start radiation as soon as possible after that.
Meanwhile, I have a long list of things around the house to do today and this week, trying to get ready to rest during radiation. Also hoping to work on a family genealogy booklet that my Mom asked me to finish. My to-do list is hounding me – and most things aren’t on it yet.
Love to you all.
You look fab in your business attire! Glad you got to go out and about and talk flowers with people. I am with you on the to do list. I just caved and did nothing about it today....just napped and frittered the day away on Pinterest. Have you checked that out yet??? Be forewarned. It is right up your alley!
